“I brought my little girl. She would not touch paint. She used to hate having anything touched on her feet, her hands. With coming to messy play it encouraged her to develop and now she loves drawing, painting, sticking, gluing and anything you name it.
You can come in your own clothes, obviously not your brand spanking new clothes, but they do provide overalls, red and blue ones, that they just slip on over their arms and it fastens at the back of the neck so that will keep them clean and dry.
You get as messy as possible because that’s the aim of the game really, obviously parents do not want to do this at home because its just mess everywhere.
This way they can glue, stick, cut, make, mend because what they do say is don’t stop a child from doing something just because you think they are going to get paint everywhere. It lets them be creative and develops them later on in life. You can let their imagination run wild.”
