First Steps Children’s Centres...
We offer a range of high quality services for children 0 - 5 and their families.
Services are based around a “core” offer of child and family health, early education and childcare, family support, employment and training.
We also have a large well equipped outdoor play area, where children can ride on our train, drive a car or indulge in imaginative play.
Dads are particularly welcome to bring their children, either on their own or with their partners and we always like to see new people in our Centres.

Bright Beginnings...
Bright Beginnings is First Steps’ child care provider, and is based in our Tanhouse Centre.
39 (full-time equivalent) places are available for children 0-5 years old. Free places may also be offered to 3/4 year olds in receipt of the Nursery Education Grant.
In 2007, we received a rating of good from Ofsted, following an inspection and are currently working towards the Lancashire Quality Award from the County Council.
